Coding
Coding is the literacy of the 21st century. We teach children to code by building things — games, apps, websites, and automation scripts. The curriculum progresses from visual block-based coding to professional text-based languages.
What Students Will Learn
- Beginners (Grade 2-4): MIT Scratch — storytelling, animations, simple games
- Intermediate (Grade 5-7): Python basics — logic, loops, functions, mini projects
- Advanced (Grade 8+): Python advanced + C/C++ + MIT App Inventor for Android apps
Program Outcomes
- Build and publish a complete game, app, or automation script
- Understand core programming concepts: variables, loops, functions, logic
- Participate in coding competitions (Hackathons, Olympiads)
- Build a coding portfolio of 3-5 projects
